La Casamatta it's an authentic corsican house nested on the height of Centuri, inside the hamlet of Camera, with a panoramic sea view. You will be amazed by the beauty of this charming house and the calm atmosphere around it, making this place a prime destination for those who want to rest and recharge their batteries, far from the noise and troubles of the everyday life. 

La Casamatta its above all a solid and loving couple with a real drive to welcome you in their home.

First there is Marie, born and raised in Corsica, genuinely proud of her origins and heritage, who chose to come back to her roots by coming back to her island after a life spent in the continent.  

Then she decided to completely renovate her family home so she can settle in it definitively, and welcome her family, friends and hosts. 

There comes her lover, Daniel, to support her and help her making this project a reality, being himself deeply in love with Corsica and wanting to leave the continent for good.

We worked hard together to do up this ancestral building and make it a little heaven to live in, where everyone can feel at home.

So it's with pride, but also with a constantly renewed energy and enthusiasm, that we welcome you home since summer 2012, wanting to meet you all and share with you our love for Corsica and its culture.

To better welcome you, we let you chose between the lodging facilities we can offer you:

• 3 double B&B bedrooms with their independent bathrooms, located in the heart of the house.
• a vacation rental, the apartment, which can host up to 5 people and is located right below the house.
• a vacation house, the Cannelle house, which can host 8 people and is located in a picturesque village, Cannelle, 2 minutes away by car.

La Casamatta it's a corsican family home steeped in history, built during the Camera hamlet construction over 400 years ago ! 

This ancient building housed generations of old families during the past centuries. Among them are the Mattei, followed by the Casamatta which are among the oldest families in the Cap Corse, with Marie being one of their last descendant.   

Today, this family home has been renovated and decorated with care to make you dive in an historical set, where time seems to have stop last century. 

La Casamatta it's the perfect place to make a real break and revitalize yourself in a traditional and charming house, with a stunning view on the sea and the Centuri harbour.
